Re-election to the Ex-Co Committee of Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation!
We are happy that two members of the BRDS’ family, a director of the group Mr. Sampath Munasingeh and Alumni member of B. R. De Silva & Co, Mr. Gayan Karunarathn Senior General Manager – present Finance, ICT & Administration of Toyato Lanka have been successfully re-elected as members of the Executive Committee (Ex-Co) of the Sri Lanka Institute of Taxation (SLIT).
Their continued presence on the Ex-Co committee is a testament to their expertise and commitment to advancing the taxation profession in Sri Lanka. We are proud to see our work of “BR” making significant contributions to the development of the country’s taxation landscape.

Ms. Umesha Alwis and Ms. Kalani Edirisooriya won the PROF. Y ADS SAMARATUNGA AND BR DE SILVA MEMORIAL GOLD MEDAL of the B.Sc. Accountancy (Special) Degree Program 2008/2009 batch. Gold medals were awarded to them at the annual convocation held in Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall on 24th September 2014.
B.R.De Silva & Company has been sponsoring this award for the best student of the B.Sc. Accountancy special degree programe of the university of Sri Jayawardenepura since 1996.
